When we introduced the original
RL Blades in 1996, they were not
created as a radical new concept,
but rather as a respectful
improvement to the best golf clubs
of our history. This year, these
highly-acclaimed irons have been
made even better, benefiting from
the input of hundreds of club
professionals and better amateurs
across the country who play them.
The RL Blades feature several
cosmetic and functional
refinements as a result of this
personal testing.

The most visible of these are the
modified profile in the toe and the
increased mass in the sole of the
long irons. In addition, heads are
now cast of a milder stainless steel
that provides an even softer feel
of impact. Finally, the scoring
pattern has been relaxed for
improved distance and ball
control. All in all, the RL Blade for
2005 is a great club made even
better.

Each iron in the set is engineered to provide the optimum shot pattern. Short irons have weight
concentrated higher and behind the center of the face for precise control of distance and
trajectory. With a lower center of mass and enhanced toe weighting, the long irons are easier
to hit than any conventional blade. In between, we believe the middle irons are the most
accurate ever made.

The RL Blades represent a return to the artful design of golf clubs, and offer unmatched
shotmaking precision.
