Dual Bounce Sole Wedges
Since Gene Sarazen invented the
first one, wedges have always
been designed with an aggressive
bounce to make them function well
from the sand and fluffy lies. But
tour professionals and many
better amateurs typically grind off
the sole of their wedges to make
them work better from the fairway
and tighter lies. Such grinding,
however, makes a wedge very
difficult to hit from the sand for all
but the most skilled player.

Until now, no company had ever
found a way to make a wedge that
worked equally well from all kinds
of lies. Our patented Dual Bounce
Sole™ changes that with a design
that is unmatched in scoring
versatility.

In this revolutionary design, the primary, or trailing portion
of the sole features a pro-grind that allows the club to
perform cleanly from the fairway and tight lies. The
innovation lies in the way in which we build a much
stronger bounce into the leading portion of the sole, so
that the same club will function perfectly in the sand and
other lies where maximum bounce is needed.

Regardless of the lie, the unique versatility of the Dual
Bounce Sole allows you to attack the pin aggressively, and
allows every golfer to learn new scoring shots. The
efficiency of the Dual Bounce design also allows us to
utilize a narrower sole overall than most other wedges.
With this weight redistributed higher on the clubhead,
these wedges are extremely responsive to knockdown
shots, and do not have the tendency to produce high
flyers when hit with a fuller swing.
Very simply, the Dual Bounce Sole wedges offer a measure of shotmaking utility that no
conventional wedge can match.

The Dual Bounce Sole line-up features several refinements and improvements. Head
metallurgy is a mild 303 stainless steel alloy to provide a fluid feel of impact and
extraordinary ball control. Face profiles are downsized slightly and the hosels streamlined to
make the clubhead slide more cleanly through sand and deep rough. The longer hosel
moves the center of mass slightly toward the heel, making the clubface easier to keep
square on the most delicate pitches and chips.

We've often been told our Dual Bounce Sole wedges were perfect, but our 2005 edition is
even better. From sand to hard pan...from fairway to deep rough ...the Dual Bounce Sole
wedges have no equal.

The Reid Lockhart 52
degree gap wedge fills the
distance void between
modern pitching wedges
and the sand wedge. Its
versatility from about 110
yards and in makes this
club a valuable addition to
any golfer's bag.
The Reid Lockhart 56
degree sand wedge is a
wedge with incredible
versatility. It is equally
efficient from soft sand and
the tightest lies, from deep
rough or fairway, making it
a scoring tool without equal.
The Reid Lockhart 60
degree lob wedge is like no
other. High soft shots
around the green are its
specialty, but unlike other
60 wedges with their big
soles, this one can be used
to work magic from tight lies
and hard pan as well.
